There is no time limit as to the validity of the Assistant Professor NTA UGC NET eligibility certificate.
Unlike the Assistant Professor eligibility certificate that lasts for a lifetime, your JRF award letter validity is a maximum period of 3 years.

Those who qualify for the JRF are eligible to pursue Higher Education (PhD ) Or Research in the subject of their post-graduation or a related subject and They also become eligible to apply for the post of an assistant professor in Indian universities and colleges.
